شمال غرب المحيط الهادئ، تحديداً في المياه التابعة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، يقع هذا الخليج الجميل النائي في منطقة وعرة. دخولكم هنا يعني استمتاعكم بمشهدٍ رائع لأسود البحر تستريح على الجرف الصخري، تصيح منادية بعضها البعض، وتتسابق للقفز في المياه، لتسبح بين أمواج البحر المتلاطمة.

عملنا في المنطقة الصخرية على تأمين الظروف البيئيّة المناسبة التي تحتاج إليها هذه الحيوانات كي تزدهر فوق وتحت سطح الماء. فبفضل التكنولوجيا المتقدمة نستطيع محاكاة حركة التيارات والأمواج، وظروف الإنارة لتماثل تلك الموجودة في البيئة الطبيعية للحيوانات. نظام الإضاءة المتقدّم والخاص بالحيوانات (AALS) يمكّننا من خلق دورات إضاءة نهارية، ليلية وموسمية مطابقة للموجودة شمال غرب المحيط الهادئ. كما يساعد بالإضافة إلى ما سبق على صنع مناطق كاملة تحصل فيها الحيوانات على حاجتها من التعرّض لأشعة الشمس بفضل طيفٍ واسع من الأشعة ما فوق البنفسجية.

In the Pacific Northwest, specifically in US territorial waters, lies this beautiful, remote cove nestled in a rugged area. Entering here means witnessing the magnificent sight of sea lions resting on the rocky cliffs, calling to one another, and racing to leap into the water, swimming amidst the crashing waves.

In this rocky region, we have worked to provide the ideal environmental conditions these animals need to thrive both above and below the water's surface. Thanks to advanced technology, we can simulate the movement of currents and waves, as well as lighting conditions that closely resemble those found in the animals' natural habitat. Our Advanced Animal Lighting System (AALS) enables us to create daytime, nighttime, and seasonal lighting cycles that mirror those found in the Pacific Northwest. Furthermore, it helps create entire areas where the animals receive the sunlight they need, thanks to a broad spectrum of ultraviolet radiation.
