Jebel Hafeet & Tombs #InAbuDhabi

Rising 1,240 metres, Jebel Hafeet is the highest peak in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The mountain stands next to Al Ain and borders Oman, forged out of craggy limestone that has been weathered over millions of years. Over 500 ancient burial tombs have been found in the Jebel Hafeet foothills, dating back 5,000 years to the beginning of the Bronze Age.
